Welcome to the InControl Tools 95 Monitor Wizard.

You have arrived at the Monitor wizard because
your Monitor is not among those listed in the
'Change Display Type' dialog.

We will assist you in determining the capabilities
of your monitor. Your monitor owner's manual will
be useful during this process. However, if you don't
have it don't worry. We will just work a little harder
for you.

If you are ready to begin click Next.

In order to determine your monitor's capabilities we are
going to apply various operating settings to your monitor.
Each setting will cause your screen to flicker momentarily
after which we will reapply your original monitor settings.

If you have never been through this process we
recommend the 'Minimal' or 'Typical' monitor setup,
otherwise choose 'Custom'.

Determines which modes your monitor
supports at a refresh rate of 60 Hz.
Determines which modes your monitor
supports at the highest refresh rate.
Allows you to select your own mode
and refresh rate combination.
The wizard will start testing the monitor when you are
ready. You will see the screen flicker momentarily for
each setting. The wizard will ask you if the screen looks
normal and stable. If the screen doesn't look normal just
wait a few seconds and a new setting will be attempted.

The wizard will test your monitor when you are ready. The
screen may flicker momentarily for each setting. The Wizard
will ask you if the screen looks normal. If it doesn't look
normal wait a moment and a new setting will be attempted.

This test may take 6 or 7 minutes to complete.

You may select the modes to be tested( either one at a
time or several at once). After you have made your selection
just press the 'Begin Testing' button. The modes which
are valid for your monitor will be marked with '>>' .

The modes which your monitor can do have been collected.
If you are satisfied with the test process and would like
to save the results click 'Finish'.

If you would like to go back and perform the test again
you may do so now.
